Joyce Brings 20 Years of Gaming Experience to Lead Strategic Marketing Efforts of the Property’s World-Class Gaming, Dining and Entertainment
As the Senior Vice President of Marketing, Mr. Joyce will lead the overall development and implementation of strategic marketing initiatives at the world-class gaming, dining and entertainment destination. His responsibilities include the execution of all marketing programs, loyalty marketing, creative development, traditional and social media, sponsorships, special events and promotions, entertainment, guest services, player development, and group sales. Mr. Joyce will oversee the daily operations of the Marketing department, including Database Marketing, Advertising, Promotions, Social Media and Special Events.
An industry leader in casino loyalty marketing and operations, Mr. Joyce was instrumental in the development and opening of Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia from the very beginning, serving as an independent consultant for the property as well as Chief Marketing Officer for Cordish Gaming Group from 2019-2021.
Mr. Joyce is an Arizona native, graduate of the University of Arizona, and brings over 20 years of gaming experience to Live! Philadelphia. Before joining Cordish Gaming Group, he spent 15 years in Las Vegas where he served as the Vice President of Casino Marketing at Palms Casino Resort and oversaw all aspects of casino marketing. Previously, he was Senior Vice President of Technology at NRT Corporation and Chief Operating Officer at OfferCraft, a SaaS-based gamification startup. He has completed independent analyses and advising for various gaming companies including Crown Perth, Boyd Gaming, Las Vegas Sands, NY-NY Casino, Station Casinos and Wynn Resorts.
Mr. Joyce was named a “Top 40 Under 40” honoree by Vegas Inc. in 2015 and was a founding member of the United Way of Southern Nevada’s Young Philanthropist Society. Additionally, he holds the title of Distinguished Toastmaster, the highest leadership honor from Toastmasters International. A featured speaker at over 100 conferences, Joyce’s work has been recognized in dozens of local and national publications and was used by former President Barack Obama’s National Foreclosure Task Force.
