Throughout the tournament, guests can join in on the fun and compete in various contests and games. On Thursday, March 21, from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.; Friday, March 22, from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.; Saturday, March 23, from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.; Sunday, March 30, from 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.; and Monday, April 8, from 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.; local artists will be on-site hand painting custom basketballs for randomly selected winners. The basketballs will feature fun designs from pop-art to intricate patterns that will make a great conversation piece in any home. Each design session will be unique, utilizing different methods, like spray painting and screen printing, to create the artwork.
Donation to The Chosen League
Hand-painted basketballs that feature motifs tied to Philly’s basketball history, including one featuring the five legendary Philly head college hoop coaches who led their teams to multiple March tournament appearances and one highlighting The Palestra, known in Philly as the “Cathedral of College Basketball,” will be on display at Sports & Social. Following the tournament, the basketballs will be donated to The Chosen League, a local nonprofit players’ league for high school students.

Participants with a submitted perfect bracket at the end of the series can win $1 million and guests who correctly predict 60+ games can win up to $25,000.
