- There will be no action on the side bets.
- Collusion among players or help from spectators is prohibited and will result in disqualification.
- English is the official promotion language.
- The Preliminary Round will consist of twelve (12) hands and all other rounds will each consist of eighteen (18) hands with a chip countdown after the seventeenth (17th) hand for the Semi Final round and above.
- Dealers shall use a standard eight-deck shoe throughout the tournament. Each round starts with a newly shuffled shoe. Each shoe will be dealt down to the yellow cut card and the hand in progress will be finished. Cards will be reshuffled, and play will continue if the 12 or 18 hands have not been played.
- The Player with the highest seat number will cut the cards at the beginning of a session. The Player dealt the cut card during a session will make the cut if the cards are reshuffled.
- A countdown of the number of hands will be posted at each table. The dealer will make an announcement with five (5) hands left to play in the round.
- Cards will be dealt face up. Players may not touch cards.
- Players may play only one spot. If a Player needs to leave the table for any reason, the minimum bet will be forfeited for each hand missed. A Player cannot place any chips in, behind or on top of another person’s circle.
- Players must play every hand and bet on their hand when it is their turn. The minimum bet is 100 points with a maximum of 10,000 per hand and bets must be made in 100-point increments, except for Insurance bets and the final (12th or 18th) hand.
- If a Player has less than the minimum bet remaining, the Player is eliminated from play in that round and their remaining chip count will be recorded.
- All bets must be placed in the circle in one move. Once the Player’s hand leaves their bet, it cannot be changed. All bets are made with non-value promotional chips only.
- All tournament chips must be separated by denomination and kept in clear view for all Players to see. Players shall not play with or unnecessarily touch their tournament chips.
- During the Semi-final and Final Rounds, all bets are placed using a rotating marker. The initial starting position will be determined by dealing a card to each person prior to the start of the competition in order from left to right and the highest card is where the first hand will begin. If the same value cards are dealt, the first card dealt out of the shoe is considered the highest. This player will get the marker placed at their hand and must place their bets first. After the completion of the hand, the marker will be moved in a clockwise direction to the next player to make their bet first and rotate clockwise around the table for each additional hand. The marker chip will be moved to the next Player after each hand of play, regardless of the outcome.
- All wagers will be made one player at a time throughout the entire tournament duration.
- All wagers must be made within 30 seconds. A player may elect to go out of turn by their own choice, but when a bet is placed into the betting area, the player may not change or alter their bet. It is suggested that all bets be set outside the betting circle and, when the bet is correct, push the entire bet into the circle.
- Cards are dealt and all action is taken according to a standard blackjack game (spots 1-6 in order).
- When a dealer calls for Insurance, the Player must wave off their hand if they do not want to take Insurance when it is their turn. Once the Player waves off or takes Insurance, the decision of the Player is final and cannot be changed.
- Once the Player completes the hand, they must waive off the dealer. Once the dealer is waived off, the hand is final.
- Secret Bet – On the final hand (18th) in the Final Round, a Player may make a secret bet. The secret bet will be written on a secret bet card initiated by the Player and placed face down in the betting area. Once each secret bet is placed the tournament supervisor will sign the secret bet card attesting that the bet is legible and meets the table minimum and any maximum amount as long as the Player has enough chips to cover the bet. Once each Player’s secret bet has been verified, the secret bet cards will be revealed and chips equal to the secret bet amount will be placed in the circles before the cards are dealt.
- At the end of the Round, the dealer will count down each Player’s chips in order from seat one to seat 6 and the tournament supervisor will record the chip count.
- Before any Player may leave the table, they must verify their score is correct.
- All promotional chips must be returned to the table at the end of the session.
- Friendly conversation is permitted during all rounds, but coaching is NOT allowed. Communication between Players and spectators is not permitted.
- Split any pair three (3) times for a total of four (4) hands. Aces may be split only once for a total of two (2) hands. Split Aces draw only one card per Ace. Split wagers must be equal.
- Doubling down is permitted where the player, on any first two cards except a point total of 21, can place an additional amount up to their original wager with the stipulation that they receive only one additional card.
- Blackjacks are paid at 2 to 1 odds.
- No surrender option is available in the tournament.
- In the event of a misdeal, players will not be given the opportunity to back out of the hand.
- If a card is exposed by mistake, the card will be burned.
- If a player’s hand is skipped, that player will receive the next two (2) cards out of the shoe after all other players have received their cards and before the dealer receives their hole card.
- No dealer toke wagers may be placed during play. Tokes are accepted at the end of the round with either cash or value chips.
