Six-Week Program Provides Qualified Candidates with the Skills
Needed to Pursue a Career in the Gaming Industry;
No College Degree or Prior Gaming Experience Required
PHILADELPHIA (July 6, 2026) — Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia is currently accepting applications for a FREE Table Games Dealer School, the first of which is scheduled to begin today, July 6, 2026. The six-week training program was established to provide qualified applicants with the skills necessary to embark on a career in the gaming industry and, upon successful completion, the opportunity to interview for a Table Games Dealer position at Live! Philadelphia.
The school is offering classes in Blackjack and carnival games such as Three Card Poker, Ultimate Texas Hold’em and Mississippi Stud with a morning session from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and an evening session from 6:00 p.m. - 10 p.m., Monday – Friday.
All classes are free of charge and taught at the facility by experienced, licensed and dedicated instructors who will professionally train students in the rules of each game as regulated by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, along with operational skills and customer service. Topics include chip handling, card shuffling, money handling, game security, proper body mechanics, responsible gaming and more.
Enrolled students will receive a tool kit that includes instruction manuals, generic chips and cards, layout felt, and other training materials. Free parking and a complimentary meal will also be provided at each session.
Students who complete the course, pass all written and oral tests, and clear a background check may audition for dealer positions at Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia. Course completion does not guarantee employment.
