LIVE! CASINO & HOTEL PHILADELPHIA WELCOMES OLD ORIGINAL NICK’S ROAST BEEF POP-UP TO 10TH STREET MARKET

PHILADELPHIA (September 8, 2026) – Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia today announced that Old Original Nick’s Roast Beef will become the latest local eatery featured at the property’s 10th Street Market food hall beginning Thursday, September 10, 2026. The pop-up location will be open Thursday and Friday from 5:00 p.m. - Midnight (or until sold out); Saturday from 12 noon – Midnight (or until sold out); and Sunday from 12 Noon – 9:00 p.m. through the fall.

 

Old Original Nick's Roast Beef has been serving Philadelphia since 1938. As a family-owned business spanning four generations, they've built their reputation on serving USDA Prime roast beef, slow-roasted in house and hand carved to order. The pop-up joins the newly reimagined 10th Street Market, where guests can enjoy some of Philadelphia’s most recognizable flavors in the heart of the Stadium District.

 

Live! Philadelphia recently invested more than $1.2 million to reimagine 10th Street Market and enhance other food and beverage offerings across the property. As part of the investment, permanent market tenants Lorenzo and Sons Pizza and Termini Bros. Bakery expanded their footprints alongside the beloved Geno’s Steaks. The rotating pop-up space provides an additional avenue for Philadelphia businesses to benefit from Live! Philadelphia’s prominent Stadium District location and year-round visitor traffic.

 

Nick’s arrival follows a summer engagement with South Philly Barbacoa from James Beard Award-winning chef Cristina Martínez, which successfully helped launch the rotating pop-up model at 10th Street Market as Live! Philadelphia welcomed visitors during the FIFA World Cup and MLB All-Star Week.

 

Through the pop-up program, Live! Philadelphia is creating new opportunities for local businesses to reach residents and visitors while showcasing the city’s rich culinary heritage. The concept also gives guests new reasons to return to 10th Street Market and the property alongside its permanent award-wining dining options.

Nick’s will serve its signature USDA Prime roast beef alongside roast turkey, roast pork and baked ham, all served on fresh Liscio's rolls. The menu will also include broccoli rabe sandwiches and sides and Italian long hot peppers.

Philadelphia will present a donation to the Philadelphia Fire Department Foundation.
