Participants are encouraged to bring up to two boxes of sensitive documents or paper materials to be securely shredded at no cost. Community shredding events are one of the safest ways to dispose of confidential paperwork—identity theft affects over 14 million Americans each year, and improperly discarded paper documents remain a common entry point for fraud. Secure shredding helps eliminate that risk!

Several local agencies will be on-site accepting items for proper disposal:
Goodwill Industries will be accepting donations. Please note that the following items cannot be accepted:
Strollers and baby carriers
Cribs and car seats
Mattresses
Tri-State Battery will collect used lead-acid batteries for proper disposal (no lithium batteries).
This event is supported by KTAL NBC 6 / FOX 33 and Cumulus Broadcasting, helping spread awareness across the Ark-La-Tex and encouraging responsible disposal during Earth Day week.
