Celebrate Lunar New Year and The Year of the Dragon at Live! Philadelphia

• Luk Fu will celebrate the Year of the Dragon February 1-29 with festive décor complemented by specialty cocktails, including “The Dragon,” which features agave nectar, Ypióca Prata Cachaça, lime juice, pinch of salt, chili pepper and “The Firecracker” which consists of Mount Gay Eclipse Rum, orange liqueur, watermelon, lime juice, simple syrup, crushed chili.
  • On Thursday, February 1, Friday, February 9, and Saturday, February 10, from 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., guests can dine with an immersive Lunar New Year experience featuring live performances by local artistic collective 7textures, a Philadelphia-based agency specializing in entertainment, styling and design.
• On Saturday, February 17 at 6:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., guests can enjoy a spectacular Lunar New Year ceremony, which will include a traditional lion dance and “Cai Qing” Ceremony (pronounced Chai Ching), featuring the “picking of the greens” by the “Lion” to bless the New Year and bring prosperity. The ceremony will begin in the Hotel Lobby, followed by a parade on the casino floor, where Live! executives will hand out lucky red envelopes to guests.

Casino Promotions

• 3^rd Anniversary Prize Wheel: It’s Live! Philadelphia’s 3^rd anniversary and we have gifts for you! Starting on Thursday, February 1 through Saturday, February 24, Live! Rewards members can earn one entry to spin the anniversary prize wheel for every 50 tier credits earned. Live! Rewards Gold Card members and higher will also receive bonus entries corresponding to their tier level. Members can also receive entries earned via PlayLive! from Thursday, February 1 through Sunday, February 25. Each Saturday in February from 1:00 p.m. – 9:55 p.m., Live! Rewards members who swipe their card at any promotional kiosk, slot machine or table game will have an entry activated for that half-hour’s drawing. Each Saturday, three winners will be drawn each half hour from 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., to spin the anniversary wheel for their prize.

• $25,000 Slot Tournament: Live! Rewards members have a chance to win their share of $25,000 in cash during the February Slot Tournament. The event kicks off on Sunday, February 18 with registration starting at noon and the tournament beginning at 1:00 p.m. 

   

• Presidents’ Day Mystery Kiosk Game – Win Up to $5,000 in Free Play: On Monday, February 19 beginning at noon, Live! Rewards members who earn 50 tier credits can redeem a Free Slot Play mystery prize by swiping their Live! Rewards Card at any promotional kiosk and playing the kiosk game.

   

• $50,000 Winter Winnings Baccarat Tournament: Guests can win their share of $50,000 in cash beginning on Friday, February 23 at 5:00 p.m., when registration opens for the preliminary round, which will be held every hour from 6:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. Guests who advance to the quarter-final will play Saturday, February 24 beginning at 7:00 p.m. The grand prize winner will win $30,000 cash and a trophy with cash prizes awarded to runners-up.

   

• Birthday Giveaway: Live! Rewards members celebrating a February birthday are invited to come celebrate on Saturday, February 25 from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. where they’ll receive a cupcake and spin the prize wheel to win prizes from free play, points or a Live! gift item.
