PHILADELPHIA (October 29, 2025) – In honor of Veterans Day, Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia is partnering with renowned Navy veteran, nonprofit founder, and entrepreneur Taylor Grieger for a special fundraising event. Grieger, who stars in the critically acclaimed documentary "Hell or High Seas" – currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video - will be at The Prime Rib at Live! Philadelphia on Friday, November 7 to launch a specialty cocktail made with his Cape Horn Tequila brand. All sales of Cape Horn help fund essential mental health and adventure therapy programs for veterans and first responders battling PTSD.
Grieger’s story is one of profound survival and resilience. After serving six years as a Navy rescue swimmer, he faced a battle with PTSD. Instead of surrendering, he sought a powerful solution: sailing around Cape Horn—some of the deadliest waters on Earth—to raise awareness about veteran suicide. That harrowing, cathartic voyage became the subject of the documentary, "Hell or High Seas."
Today, Grieger channels his experience into Skeleton Crew Adventures, a nonprofit that takes veterans and first responders battling PTSD on transformative, research-driven sailing expeditions. The program immerses participants in nature and team-building challenges, proven methods to help heal invisible wounds and rebuild trust, purpose, and peace.
This November, Live! Philadelphia will host a series of events and promotions to celebrate the bravery of veterans like Grieger and advance Skeleton Crew Adventures’ mission to offer life-changing therapeutic opportunities.
Cocktail for a Cause: Hell or High Seas Paloma
Throughout the month of November, The Prime Rib at Live! Philadelphia will feature the Hell or High Seas Paloma, a specialty cocktail made with Cape Horn Tequila, fresh grapefruit and lime juice, gochujang-pineapple infused simple syrup, and prosecco, garnished with grilled Tajin pineapple. Tequila Talk & Tasting with Taylor Grieger
On Friday, November 7 from 8:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., Live! Philadelphia will host a special meet & greet with tequila talk and tasting, featuring the signature Hell or High Seas Paloma at The Prime Rib Lounge. This event is open to the public and guests are invited to meet Grieger, hear firsthand accounts of sailing through 50-foot waves, and learn more about the critical work of Skeleton Crew Adventures.
