PHILADELPHIA (November 5, 2026) – Philadelphia’s hometown hero is turning 50 and Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia is inviting fans aged 21 and over to celebrate a half-century of “Rocky” with a community screening of the classic film at the Live! Event Center on Sunday, November 15 at 8:00 p.m.
From the streets of South Philly to the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, “Rocky” captured the grit, heart and determination of his hometown. Now, fans can come together in the Stadium District to revisit the film that made Rocky Balboa a champion to Philly and the world.
Showtime is 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $3.00, which includes a voucher for popcorn and candy, and are available for purchase now at LiveCH.com/Philadelphia, AXS.com, or Shop Live! in the hotel lobby. A cash bar will also be available.
Written by and starring Sylvester Stallone, “Rocky” follows Rocky Balboa, a small-time Philadelphia boxer who gets an unlikely shot at the world heavyweight title against reigning champion Apollo Creed. As he trains for the fight of his life and finds love with the shy Adrian, Rocky sets out to prove he can go the distance. The 1976 classic is a stirring story of heart, perseverance and one underdog’s refusal to give up.
