PHILADELPHIA (May 5, 2026) – Comedian and actor JON LOVITZ is bringing a hilarious night of stand-up to the Live! Event Center on Friday, August 14, 2026. Lovitz is best known for his five seasons on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live,” where he played unforgettable characters such as “Tommy Flanagan of the Pathological Liars Anonymous,” “Master Thespian,” and “Hanukkah Harry.”

Lovitz, recognized for his signature wit, sharp timing and classic comedic style, has been delighting audiences for over 30 years. He is a two-time Emmy-nominated actor, having appeared in over 40 films. Lovitz has worked with acclaimed directors such as Penny Marshall and Rob Reiner and is one of the handful of actors used regularly in almost all of Adam Sandler’s movies.
Lovitz is also well known for his distinctive voice. He was the lead voice for the character “Jay Sherman” in the acclaimed cult cartoon series, “The Critic” and created and voiced the character of Marge Simpson’s boyfriend in “The Simpsons.” He has appeared on Broadway at the Music Box Theatre in Neil Simon’s play, “The Dinner Party,” has sung at Carnegie Hall, and sang the National Anthem at Dodger Stadium and the U.S. Open.
